Screwed

I mean that in the literal sense. This morning when I went out to start the truck I saw the back drivers side tire was flat. My husband decided to follow me to the gas station to put air in it. I went to start the truck and nothing. Yep you guessed it mom the battery was dead AGAIN. After my husband got the truck going I drove slowly to the gas station. Went I beant down to put air in is when I saw the ugliest, knarliest, gross looking thing you ever want to see on a Monday morning...A big fat screw staring up at me. Can I go back to bed and wake up as a kid again?

First Day of School 2009

This morning went great! Chase was ready for his first day of Kindergarten and everyone seemed to be in a great mood. Here are some pictures from this morning.

2009 Luau

Every year my BIL Bob & SIL Debbie have a luau. This year was my third and it did not disappoint! This year Larry's buddy Dan Chandler was able to come out with his girlfriend. I would post her picture but don't have permission. I have a couple of photos I can share though...

Things That Make You Go Hmmm!

So I wake up today sun is shining birds are singing and I decide to call my mom to see how her journey to work was. You see she just bought an '08 Chrysler Sebring two nights ago which they picked up yesterday. So one would think on her drive in this morning she would have had the top down right? I mean look how sunny it is! Mom quit fearing the rain and put the top back please!

The Lake

Summers were so special when I was a kid. Why? Because every summer during July my family along with some great friends would go to the lake. My parents had a condo right off the Grand Glaze Bridge and we loved it. My friend Amanda and I would talk for months about what we wanted to do when we got there. When we were really young we always had to go to Big Surf. That seemed less important the older we got. Their was always one particular must that never changed through the years. We absolutely had to go see Gabby Gum and family down on Main Street! Yes we were complete nerds one year and went to see the same show SEVERAL times.

As my parents take off for the lake this weekend I will be remembering all the fun times shared down at the lake. I will be bitter and crabby since i'm not getting to go but I do hope they have fun!
